About
My art expresses my belief in the ageless and timeless connectivity of humankind. I always seem to find my way back to the figure or portraiture whether painting, etching, doing collage, photography or mixed media installation. Themes frequently delve into female connectivity, anti-racism and humankind's connectedness to our earth.
After studying painting and photography as an undergraduate, I moved to Paris, then settled in California and did postgraduate studies at the San Francisco Art Academy. One of my art career's biggest dancing-in-the-streets moment came when both the Louvre (Paris) and the Getty Museum (L.A.) liked and retweeted my artwork on their social media pages. Born in New Orleans, I have lived most of my life in California and both my home and studio are in Santa Monica, CA.
